Passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 75. Cherished husband of Bev Simpson for 13 years. Loving dad to Laura Cole. Deeply missed stepdad of Nicole Loft. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Janice Boles (Marvin), and Don Cole (Marlene). Fondly remembered by his nieces, Sarah and Amy. Sorely missed by his brother-in-law, Wayne Simpson and sister-in-law Jeanette Stevens. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Gladys Cole.
Keeping with Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Oh my , this is certainly sad news. My thoughts are with Bev and the rest of the family. Although I had lost touch when Neil and Bev moved to Panama , I have many cherished memories of my dear friend Neil.
He was gracious, generous and giving and above all so much fun. Even kept a cold bottle of vodka in his freezer for when I would pop by for a visit.
Too many stories to remember.
