Condolences to your family. I called, my brother-in-law,Bob Christensen, the director of Bolton Camp. He was so sad to hear about Jan. We didn’t know, until now even though we all lived in Aurora. We were close friends of Doris, Bobs FSA secretary. We even knew Jan and Clay’ mom “Rosie” from another camp. I wished I hadn’t lost contact over the years, as the railway career kept me away. 🌺

I met Jan at Bolton Camp in the seventies. I called my brother-in-law Bob Christensen,to let him know of Jan’s passing. He was the director of Bolton Camp, and was responsible for hiring Jan. His FSA secretary was Doris, who we were close friends with over the years. He also knew your and Jan’s mom “Rosie”, from an earlier camp, where she was a cook. Condolences to your family..📧

Clayton and Family Our sincere condolences.
Jan was a wonderful second cousin we got to know far too late in life. We will miss her at the Coward gatherings, having always enjoyed listening to her interesting stories… be it about family history, travel experiences etc. Jan’s leadership in navigating family history is a greatly appreciated part of her legacy. Bonne voyage Jan…. we will miss you and your infectious smile!

My sincerest condolences to all of the family and her dear friends.

Jan was so full of life and laughter that being around her just made you happy. She loved her family, her gardens, travel and geneology. The Class of ’74 appreciated her contributions to our reunions, especially in preparing written memorials for each of our deceased classmates. She will be missed by us all but we will remember her whenever we gather.

Jan was a wonderful friend to my sister, Mary Pat. That friendship grew into an amazing friendship with our whole family. She’s always had a special place in our hearts. She visited the cottage often and was known as my parents favourite visitor because she was fun to be with, relaxed and was always ready to do whatever work needed to be done. She added a lot of laughter to our family’s big celebrations.

Jan was always a joy to be with: warm, kind, happy and very, very funny. She was just an all round wonderful person and she will be greatly missed by all of us.

    Clayton and Claire and Family.
We are very saddened to hear of Janice’s passing. We got to know Janice better much later in our lives (when she moved to Bradford), and she was a great addition to our family gatherings. Janice always had many pictures and stories to tell us about the family history. Janice was always interested in knowing how the kids were doing and what was happening in our world. Her laugh and her smile were very infectious. She will be sorely missed by us all.

Love Ken, Dawne, Aidan & Maisy, Kieran, Gavin & Calandra, and Sienna & Dom.
