DIXON: William “Bill” of London

Dixon, Bill W300

August 25, 1950 – February 14, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Dixon on the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025 at Parkwood Institute, Palliative Care, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Dixon. He leaves behind his cherished family and friends. Loving father of Kristopher Hockey (Danielle), Teri-Lyn Hockey (Nate), and Douglas Hockey. Proud grandpa of Kenzie Hockey, Aliya Masse, Kolin Glendenning, Aiyana Doxtator, Alicia Doxtator Riley Hockey, Chase Hockey, and great-grandpa of Kaylin Glendenning, Karter Glendenning, and Elias Doxtator. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tracey and Rob Riley, Carolyn and Randy Redmond, and Carol Wicks. Uncle of Cherie Evans (Brad).

Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter; he loved to take in the beauty nature had to offer. As a truck driver, it was more than just a job, it was his lifestyle. He never thought of it as work, but rather an opportunity to drive across the Country and through the United States enjoying the scenery and being on the open roads.

Keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
