Suddenly at his home in London, on Friday, April 16, 2021, formerly of Peterborough at the age of 31. Cherished son of Chris and Cindy Doris of Peterborough. Dear brother of Jason Doris of Peterborough. Dear grandson of Anita Doris of Peterborough and Marion Telfer of London. Dear nephew of Kathy Crichton of London, Lee-Anne and Ed Hyer of Markham, Susan and Ken Hoar of Toronto, Mary Catherine and Mike Heffernan of Peterborough, and Lorne Doris of Peterborough. Fondly remembered by his many cousins and large extended family. Predeceased by his grandparents Bob Telfer and Vince Doris.
Cremation has taken place and a public celebration of life will be held in the future when family and friends are able to gather and share love, support and hugs. Cremation and Celebrations, Arva entrusted with arrangements.

The news of James’s passing was just posted at Fanshawe, please accept my condolences on your loss. James was a student of ours in the landscape design program where his creative designs and sense of humor added greatly to the dynamics of his class. His wide range of interests led to many discussions on books and graphic styles. He will be missed by those who had the opportunity to teach and interact with him. He will be remembered fondly.

To the family of James,
I just heard about James passing away today (April 22) and was saddened to hear. I went to high school with James and haven’t seen him since but still remember like him like it was yesterday. James would always be rushing to class to make sure he was never late. Eager to learn and very smart.
I myself have had to bury a child of my own and it’s not right. We’re not meant to bury our children and there is no worse pain than to do so. My heart goes out to you Chris and Cindy and all your family. All I can say is remember the good times you had, and cherish those memories forever. Celebrate his birthday, his passing, and all the traditions you may have shared.
