lt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Fitzsimmons on Tuesday June 9th, 2026, at the age of 71. Cherished wife and soulmate of the late Peter Barczynski (2024). Dearly loved mother of Marc LeBlanc (Joelle) and Onile LeBlanc (Tanya) and second “Ma” to Lawrence Barczynski and Bryan Nash. Grandma Sharon to James Bygrave, Melissa Bygrave, Marc and Alex LeBlanc, and Great Grandma to Phoenix Clyburn. Survived by her mother, Catherine Rausch of South River. Big sister to to Debra Page (Donny) and Margaret Lambe and fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family.
Sharon demonstrated an unwavering love and devotion to her family. As much as she did not want to leave them behind, she is grateful for the chance to be reunited with her best friend and beloved husband, Peter.
Keeping with Sharon’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Sorry to read that Sharon has passed. Peter was a relative to us so we enjoyed many good times with him and Sharon. I know how much she missed Peter – together again. Rest in eternal peace Sharon.

Going to miss you immensely. You were a very true friend since we met at Blessed Sacrament in grade 2. What a long ride we shared. It has been a real pleasure and a blessing. See you when we see each other again Bestie.
