Passed away at LHSC – Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the age of 83. Survived by his beloved wife for sixty years Sheila (Williacy) Fletcher. Cherished father of Aaron and Ethan Fletcher. Grandfather of Alyssa and great-grandfather of Daisy (Aaron). Chris was the favorite “Unc” of Cheryl Anderson (niece) and fondly admired by Josh Wicks (nephew).
Chris was proud to be a veteran having served in Canada’s Navy during the 60’s. After working as a Bell Technician for many years Chris built a house/business that he called “Possum Hollow” near Port Stanley. He loved carpentry, but was adept at all the ‘trades’. He will be remembered for his engaging and outgoing personality, for helping others and for getting things done the right way.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be announced later. Please check back for service details.
Donations to Alzheimer Society in Chris’ memory would be appreciated by the family.
