It is with heavy hearts we announce that Thomas Hickson lost his battle with Dementia in his 74th year at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Loving father of the late Michael Hickson and Amanda (Hickson) McGill. Cherished grandfather of Briana, Tyler, Jordan, Chelsy, Mitchell, and Alysa. Adored great-grandfather of Shada, Zaedon, Kashton, Kenai, Landyn, Athena, Leanna, and Halo. Dear brother of Steve (Penny) Hickson, and Chis (late Tim) Hickson. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as his great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Roy and June Hickson.
Keeping with Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners in Tom’s honour.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 6 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Grand Bend, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $3/km (one way travel only).

My condolences to all of Tom’s family and friends. I haven’t seen Uncle Tom in a few years but carry fond memories as a child visiting him and Aunt Pat. From what I remember, he was a big, bright personality who loved to share stories and give advice.
I hope your memories of Tom carry you through your grief. The pain of losing a loved one is proof of the love you shared.
