
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Campus on Saturday, September 9, 2023 of Grand Bend at the age of 85. Cherished husband of Jean (Salzman) Martin for over 50 years. Proud father of Christine Harkness (George), Penny Sutcliffe (Martin), Tim Martin (Corrine), Mark Martin, Kristine Freitas (Joe). Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Yvonne Disano (Richard), Howard Martin, Geraldine Peltz, Ken Salzman, Darrell and Julie Salzman. Predeceased by his parents Delphine and Walter Martin, brother Fred Martin, sisters-in-law Darlene Martin, Barb Martin, Ruth Ann Salzman, and Mary Salzman and brothers-in-law Murray Peltz, and William Salzman. Jean wishes to thank her dear friend and neighbour Brian Stratychuk for the many rides to London to see Len.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Len’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation & Celebrations, Grand Bend (519-963-4003). Interment New Dundee Union Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
