Passed away peacefully at LHSC-University Hospital on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Cherished mother of Paul (Michelle) Moossdorff and Heather (Wayne Venhuizen) Moossdorff and wife and friend of Bill Moossdorff. Adored granny of Jack, Drew, Ryan, Luke, Robyn, and Melanie. Fondly remembered by her siblings, nieces and nephews in Ireland and Canada.
Mom will be remembered for her unwavering love of family and friends, her joyful personality and her fondness for fashion.
Words will never do justice to this wonderful woman. She always had a kind and encouraging word, an Irish sparkle in her eye and the time to spend with everyone that crossed her path. She was the purist of souls who knew the strength of love and kindness. She left this world on her terms and always with consideration for her family.
To all her friends that valued and cared for her until the end, we are truly grateful. Her Irish eyes are shining on you all. The family will be in contact regarding her Celebration of Life.
Following Margarets wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family kindly hopes that everyone will continue to help and value an elderly person in their community.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or LHSF (London Health Sciences Foundation) in Margaret’s memory would be appreciated by the family.

Marg was truly a wonderful person.

I just happen to come across this announcement and we are shocked so very sorry to hear your wonderful Mom has passed away. Brad and I are saddened by this. Marg was certainly the coolest Mom we’ve ever known. So many great memories of your Mom visiting on McDonald Ave and the many gatherings at your home. I don’t think I’ve ever known your Mom to get mad…she was always laughing and smiling, much like she is in this beautiful picture of her.

Paul, Heather and families, I was so sad to see that your mom has passed away. She was such a wonderful neighbour to me when I was young living in Petrolia. Always so cheerful, kind and looking gorgeous. As I grew up, I loved to shop with my mom in Sarnia where she worked, her passion for fashion was contagious. My mom was also very much into fashion and the two of them would carry on quite the conversations.
Losing a parent is definitely like losing a part of yourself but hopefully the memories will bring you comfort.

My mom and I live in the same building as your mom.
I am still sad to hear of your moms sudden passing.
It was not unusual for me to arrive home from work to see your mom sitting in our living room chatting with my mom. I would join in on the conversation where your mom was making us laugh and sharing her beautiful smile.
She never left without saying ” I love you girls” Always so positive and filled with so much joy and talked about her children and grandchildren with so much admiration.
She told us how her grandson called her up and told her he was going to take her to church and how she thought he was joking but sure enough he arrived like he promised and then they enjoyed the service and brunch afterwards.

I was a neighbour of your Dearest Mum, Granny and Wife ,
Marg , was the very first person I met 4.5 years ago when I moved to our apartment Complex. I was greeted with the warmest smile and welcome. We quickly became friends , because how could you not be friends with one of the happiest , go lucky , always positive ,
sweetest lady ever . Her love for
life , nature , her family and animals was beautiful and contagious. Marg you made me smile every single time we met for tea/wine or a walk . Our many conversations were about her love for fashion , walking , our furry friends , and ALWAYS included something about Heather , Paul , your spouses and each and everyone of her grandchildren . She was so proud of all of you , and the love you all shared and had for each other was more than abundant .
