Passed away at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the age of 62. Cherished husband of Marjorie (Healy) Rose for 37 years. Proud father of Evangeline Rose, and Kenneth and Jesse Rose. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Doug and Dawn, Cathy, Carroll, Ivan, Bernice and Russell, Pat and Judy, Cindy, Joanne and Craig, Duncan, and Carolyn and Rick. Dearly missed by nephews; David, Scott (Macey), step nephew Tim, nieces-in-law Toni (Randy) and Linda, aunt Cecile (the late Don), the late uncle Peter (Elaine), and cousin Scott (Dana). Fondly remembered by many other nieces and nephews and good friends Debbie, Martin, Frances, Lo and Bert.
Predeceased by his parents Gary and Evangeline Rose, his brother-in-law Alex and Marjorie’s siblings and their spouses; Ron, Barbara, Lillian and Leroy, and Shirley and Donald.
Rob was a passionate lacrosse fan, whether it be playing, coaching or watching, he loved the game. He loved to learn new skills and could often be found watching boring educational shows on tv. He loved hoarding tools and enjoyed using these tools to build new things with his kids, even now that they are older. Above all, Rob loved to spend time with his family and friends, and he cherished each moment spent with those he loved.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 427 Wing Cafe, 2155 Crumlin Side Road, London on Saturday, April 20th beginning at 1 PM.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
