Peacefully with her husband by her side at LHSC – University Hospital on May 12, 2023 of London at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Peter Szomolanyi for over 42 years. Cherished mother of Martin Szomolanyi and his wife Candice. Proud grandmother of Arron. Dear sister of Janina Spinosa and her husband Mario and their children; Christina, Danielle (Joseph). Predeceased by her parents Franciszka (Kochanski) and Wladyslaw Sycz.
In keeping with Zofia’s wishes cremation has taken place.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 6 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Grand Bend, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $3/km (one way travel only).
Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.
I love and miss you so much mom. You were an incredible inspiration in my life. A loving mother who stuck by her son no matter what happened. One who filled my heart with incredible memories that I will hold dear. Lessons of forgiveness and patience followed by kindness and care which I will follow wisely in raising my son. I was so lucky to have such an incredible mother and teacher in my life. I will never forget you. I love you mom !
Zofia was a very special person, so giving and always full of surprises. She showed her love for us through her actions, often showing up with little gifts for Aaron and home-cooked meals. Martin, Aaron and I are blessed to have had you in our lives.

Our sincere sympathy on the loss of Droga Ciocia Zosia. We have many fond memories of her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
