Chris passed peacefully at home on September 17, 2021, after a two-decade-long cancer journey. He will be missed by all those who loved and knew him.
Chris is survived by his wife Donna, sons Eric and Lucas (Mackenzie), siblings Terry Cole, Rick, Paul, Marie Robinet (Pierre), Mike (Fran), and Angela Mancinone (Cary), and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Bill and Marie Turnbull and beloved sister, Dorothy Little (Cliff).
Chris was well known for his sense of humour and quick wit; he loved to make people laugh. He also loved golf, old cars, dancing, and was a loyal Detroit Lion’s fan. His greatest achievement was raising his two sons to be fine young men.
Our family would like to thank all the dedicated staff at Victoria Hospital, the Cancer Clinic, and VON for their exceptional care that helped keep Chris with us for so long. A special thank you to Doctors Ott, Vincent, Andrews, and our nurse, Florence, who guided us through Chris’s last days. Also, thanks to so many friends and family for their ongoing support.
Keeping with Chris’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation & Celebrations (519-963-4003). Messages of condolence are welcome at www.cremationandcelebrations.com.

I am so very sad and sorry to hear about Chris passing. I know it has been a lengthy battle for him and long struggle and worry for you family…….
So sorry to learn this morning of Chris’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family. I worked with Chris for many years and I will never forget his charismatic smile, and fun loving laughter. He would talk often about his family and I remember him being so proud of his son’s.
