With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Lisa Darlene Clifford on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Huron Hospice, her dream location, surrounded by love. After a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Lisa faced every challenge with strength, humour, and determination. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible teams at Victoria Hospital, the Verspeeten Cancer Clinic, and Huron Hospice for their compassion, care, and kindness throughout her journey.
Lisa was the beloved mother of Melodie, Tenykia, Brienna, and Keela (Mitch), and the proud grandmother of Nick, Leiylah, Oakli, Serenity, Gracie, Abigael, Kingsley, Ja’Dace, Brody, Nethaniel, and Madison. She will also be deeply missed by her brother Derek (Tammy) and nieces Jenna and Danielle, her stepchildren, and many cherished extended family members.
She was happiest outdoors – camping, fishing, and finding peace in nature. She loved her aquariums, her pets, and her online role-playing games that connected her with friends around the world.
In keeping with her wishes, Lisa will be cremated, and her ashes spread across the world so she can forever travel with her children, grandchildren, and those she loved most. There will be no formal funeral, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A tree will be planted in Lisa’s name at the Huron Hospice Memorial Forest for anyone who wishes to visit and pay their respects. Forever Woven into our days, she will live on in the woods she loved, the lakes she fished, and the hearts she shaped.
Donations to Huron Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

Lisa, life was not always kind to you but you continued to get up and do your best. That determination to do better than the day before was a model to those who loved you not only to do better themselves but also to learn forgiveness, compassion and kindness. I want to thank you for helping shape the beautiful person that my soul sister Keela is.
