Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 of Ingersoll, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Eckhardt (1998). Cherished mother of Jeff of Herentals, Belgium, Nancy and her husband Gary Latimer of London, Jim and wife Kathy of Naples, Florida, and Carol Eckhardt of Woodstock. Proud grandma of Sean, Greg, Jill, Laura, Andreas, Jamie, and Jack and her great-grandsons, Nolan, Oscar, Gust, Louis, and Lex. Predeceased by infant daughter Gail Helen (1957), daughter-in-law Patsy (1996), sister Joy (2009) and brother Jim (1944).
Keeping with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date, when friends and family can gather to share in love and stories. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation & Celebrations, Arva (519-963-4003).
Donations to Woodstock and District Developmental Services or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
