It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Judith Anne Weber (nee Crerar); wife and best friend of 43 years to Bill Weber, beloved mother to Brent, Jeff (Amanda), Mike and Stephanie (John), cherished Nana to Aleena, Andrew, Miranda, Owen and Riley. Judi passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House Hospice in Exeter, Ontario with her family by her side.
She will be forever missed not only by her family, but also by her cousins and many friends.
Judi made an impact on so many throughout her lifetime; whether it was through her expansive teaching career of both children and adults, or her involvement in her community and church.
She will always be remembered for her fierce independence, her ability to teach herself anything she needed to know, and her unwavering belief that things will always work themselves out.
Our family wishes to express our deepest appreciation to Dr. Percival at Seaforth Community Family Health team, to Dr. Saini and the wonderful nurses and lab technicians at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), to James Bannerman and the staff at Pharmasave Grand Bend, to Kate Nesbitt and the nursing team at St Elizabeth Health Care and Dr. Lam and the many nurses, personal support workers and volunteers at Jessica’s House Hospice. Thank you for your guidance and support and for walking this journey with us.
A memorial service will be held at Huron Shores United Church, 25 Main Street West, Grand Bend on Monday, July 28th at 11 AM and will be followed by an informal reception. Interment Grand Bend United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre in London, Ontario or to Jessica’s House Hospice.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 6 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Grand Bend, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $3/km (one way travel only).
