I’ve been reading the obituaries for many years, always checking for mine, as Lesu did. Finally, today is the day! On the eve of Saturday, July 16, 2022 I chartered the last flight of my spectacular 87 years here on earth. I may no longer be with you but my undying love endures for and with my son Michael (Janice), my daughter Patti (Brian), my son Peter, grandchildren Breehan, Matthew, Nathan, Jacob, Melissa, Kathryn, their partners as well as my great grandchildren Sofia, Blake, Aidem and Ben. Peacefully at Onieda Long-term Care Home, Southwold on July 2, 2022 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Moody (1973). Cherished mother of Christina Stamarski (Dale), Cheryl Towle (Steve), Ira (Mary Foster); Calvin (Marlene Rushton), Shawn (Monica). Loving grandmother and great grandmother of many. Fondly remembered by sisters Ellen Fierbach, Velma Cooke, Shirley Carnegie. Missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by daughters Marilyn Hohner (Paul), Carol Barnaby (Percy), and Dianne Moody and son Alan Lyle (Mary Blackwell), sister Mary Ransom and brother Gerald Dobbs. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment Exeter Cemetery.  Donation to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.

Marie Merrithew passed away peacefully on June 9, 2022 in her 83rd year, in Palliative Care at University Hospital in London, ON following a short illness. Predeceased by her parents, Ottie and Vera Gallagher of Fredericton, NB and her husband, W.
