Helen Elizabeth Putherbough passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at North Lambton Lodge in Forest on July 31, 2022.  Liz was born in London, Ontario on July 22, 1940. Predeceased by mother Helen Eby (Ashman) Fielding and father Spencer Franklin Fielding. Liz taught for 31years at St Mary’s DCVI. In this role she touched and influenced many lives. She will be remember fondly by her students. She was also an avid gardener (lifetime member of the Grand Bend Horticultural Society and Trillium Award Winner), artist, florist and cake decorator. Passed at LHSC–University Hospital on July 9, 2022 of London at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Rona (Robbins) for 30 years. Cherished father of Chris (Keiko), Matt (Karen), and stepfather of Scott, Bobby, and Jennifer. Adored grandfather of Melia, Kayla, Jacob; Makenna, and Emery. Predeceased by daughters Marilyn Hohner (Paul), Carol Barnaby (Percy), and Dianne Moody and son Alan Lyle (Mary Blackwell), sister Mary Ransom and brother Gerald Dobbs. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 6 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Grand Bend, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $3/km (one way travel only).

2020 Trees

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
